20th Century Fox has released a new Deadpool sequel trailer that is a teaser more than anything. Of course it is still hilarious and we actually get to see Cable this time and a bit of Domino. Deadpool as a character is the definition of meta which is why he can get away with making a trailer where he interrupts it. His reason can’t be argued either because the trailer starts off with Josh Brolin as Cable wearing a green sleeve where a metal arm is supposed to be placed in using CGI. So, Deadpool interrupts to give the guys a moment to CGI in Cable’s arm while he uses toys of himself and Cable to show their introduction. And that, good people, is why Deadpool has always been one of my favorite comic book characters; plus Deadpool #1 is the first I have ever read. Enjoy the trailer!
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
The as of yet unnamed Deadpool sequel arrives in theaters May 18!
