Black Bolt, Medusa, and Maximus take center stage in their very own character posters for Marvel’s Inhumans.
Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) will play Black Bolt, the King of Attilan and all Inhumans, with the ability to unleash great destructive power through the use of his voice. Joined by Serinda Swan (“Ballers,” “Graceland”) as Medusa in the series, the Queen of the Inhumans and wife of Black Bolt — his most trusted advisor, a fiercely resilient warrior who has the ability to move and control her hair the way most people use their hands and fingers.
Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus, Black Bolt’s brother — a clever and charming Inhuman who harbors an intense desire to wear the crown himself. Ken Leung (“Night Shift,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Lost”) has landed the key role of Karnak in the Marvel’s Inhumans television series for ABC. Karnak is Black Bolt’s cousin and closest advisor. His gift is an ability to see the fault in all things – people, plans, structures, everything.
The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.
Marvel’s Inhumans will premiere its first two episodes worldwide, exclusively in IMAX for two weeks starting September 1, 2017. ABC will then premiere the weekly series in fall, with additional exclusive content that can only be seen on the network.
