Ever since Warner Brothers Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios announced Injustice 2, many fans have speculations of who will be featured in the game.  We have our very own speculations and you can check them out below:

– Darkseid – This tyrant was missing from the first game and should definitely be a new character for the second one.  Let’s have him go head to head with Superman for world domination.

– Mister Freeze – In Injustice: Gods Among Us we got Killer Frost, so naturally it is only right that we get another cold power super villain.  Victor Fries is just the man for the job and more suitable than Captain Cold…in my opinion.

– Deadman – If Injustice 2 follows the comic book route then this one might actually be impossible.  In the comics, Deadman dies by a supernatural sword used by who viewers thought was The Spectre.  Nightwing then becomes the new Deadman…I’ll take Deadman Nightwing as a character.

– John Constantine – Constantine entered the Injustice comics for a while to help Batman take down Superman but when all attempts failed, he left.  He is a master of the dark arts and has supernatural knowledge.  He would make a great addition to Injustice 2.

– Vixen – Mari McCabe has the ability to channel the abilities and attributes of the entire animal kingdom through the Tantu Totem, a powerful necklace she inherited from her parents.  I would love to see the different animals the studio would use for her character.

– Red Hood – The second Robin, Jason Todd who died and later returns as the Red Hood.  Jason trained under Batman to become the second Robin, and since Nightwing is dead and may not appear in the new game, Todd would make a great addition.

– Beast Boy – This character is a top 5 pick, though he happens to be number 7. Beast Boy powers allow him to alter his entire body mass, permitting him to morph into animals larger, smaller, lighter or heavier than himself. Imagine the possibilities playing with this guy in Injustice 2.

– Commissioner Gordon – Don’t underestimate the commissioner, he has some skills.  It would also be fun to have him as a playable character.  In addition, he is one of Batman’s most reliable allies; even though he also dies in the comics.

– Vandal Savage – The immortal warrior, who wants to conquer the planet.  It’s crazy that he wasn’t in the first game since he wants to conquer the world and all.  I could see him working alongside Superman until the right opportunity presents itself for the betrayal.

– Any Green Lantern Besides Hal Jordan – We already had Hal Jordan in Injustice: Gods Among Us so let’s give another Lantern a turn to shine (no pun intended).  I would love to see Jessica Cruz in the game, Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner, or John Stewart as playable characters.  Yes, John was in the first one but he didn’t have his own fighting style.

– Robin (Damian Wayne) – Damian Wayne was given the John Stewart treatment in Injustice: Gods Among UsHe was added as an extra outfit for Nightwing, meaning he had the same skill set.  Damian was trained by the League of Assassin, he and Nightwing do not even have the same skills.  I would like to see him redone as an actual playable character.

– Firestorm – Ronnie Raymond and Professor Martin Stein fuse together to create Firestorm.  Firestorm has a wide range of abilities such as flight, rearranging the atomic and subatomic structure of inorganic matter, rearranging subatomic particles to create objects of different atomic characteristics of equal mass.  Plus he’s a well-established superhero on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

– Black Canary – Black Canary is one of the best fighters in the DC Universe and should have definitely been in the first Injustice game.  This character may not make an appearance because she is actually on a different earth in the Injustice comics.  We might get Ted Grant aka Wildcat, he trained Black Canary at a time.

– Dr. Fate – Kent Nelson, a powerful Sorcerer and agent for the Lords of Order who fights evil alongside his wife Inza.  Naturally, he should want to stop Superman.  He is also a founding member of the Justice Society of America.

– Amanda Waller – Creator of the Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller aka ‘The Wall’ is a top-ranking U.S. Government agent involved in clandestine operations. She is super smart and one of the few people to figure out Batman’s secret identity.  She is skilled in espionage and many forms of martial arts.

– Swamp Thing – Swamp Thing can control every plant life on this planet, from the fungus on stale bread to forests of towering oaks and he is superhumanly strong.  He protects both humanity and the environment.  Basically, he’s a BEAST!

– Deadshot – The world’s greatest marksman could be a good substitute for Deathstroke, or the studio could just add them both.  He’ll commit any murder for the right price and Bruce Wayne has a lot of money.

– Blue Beetle – You may recognize this kid from Young Justice, Jaime Reyes uses his scarab to construct an exoskeleton and becomes Blue Beetle.  He is also a member of the Teen Titans.  His scarab has many difference abilities that would make him a great opponent in any battle.

– Katana – Wielder of the Soultaker Sword, Katana’s sword steals the essence of those it slays and stores them inside.  Taking souls like Shang Tsung; that should work for NetherRealm Studios.

– Brainiac – The destroyer of Krypton and one of Superman’s greatest enemies.  Brainiac is a super-intelligent alien being from the planet Colu.  Powers includes, psychokinesis, superhuman strength, telepathy, and telekinesis.

– Booster Gold – This time-traveling superhero is from the 25th Century and has a robotic side-kick named Skeets.  Booster Gold would be an interesting character to the game because he would be another tech character, but with future tech.

– Ra’s al Ghul – Known as the Head of the Demon, Ra’s al Ghul is one of Batman’s most known enemies and has been around for 100s of years.  He is a master in all types of weapons and martial arts, which makes him an ideal character for Injustice 2.

Who do you want to see in the new Injustice game?
