Today we see the launch of Sapienza, the second episode of Hitman, brought to us by Io-interactive.
“Sapienza is a strong contrast to the Paris fashion show, it’s the nearest thing to a small town released in a Hitman game which we haven’t done before on this scale,” said Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive. “It’s great to see players having fun with the additional content we have been releasing weekly, and now with a new location I can’t wait to see what they get up to in the sunshine of Sapienza.”
On this mission Agent 47 is targeting Silvio Caruso, a bioengineer employed by the Ether Biotech Corporation who is reportedly working on a DNA-Specific virus able to infect anyone anywhere in the world. 47 must eliminate Silvio Caruso and Francesca De Santis, the head of his lab. He must also obtain and destroy the yet unfinished virus prototype.
If players have purchased the Full Experience Pack then Sapienza comes free as part of it. For those who have the Intro Pack, Sapienza wnd the rest of this year’s yet to be released content can be purchased for $50 as part of the Upgrade Pack. If you’re not interested in the content coming out later, this location can be had for $10.
The disc version of HITMAN reaches stores in January 2017.
